    over-educatingOctober 2009

BBC World Service TV – as a panel on a global programme we were discussing whether we are over-educating people. You can check out the video & my comments here.

BBC Radio 1 – the team over at Radio 1 asked me to join a Dragons’ Den-style panel format along with Shaf Rasul (of Dragons’ Den) and Kavita Oberoi (of the Secret Millionaire) to give advice to 6 listeners who are having difficulty finding, landing & keeping jobs. The clips will be aired on Radio 1 and BBC Online next month.

‘Woman’ magazine – I was drafted in by ‘Woman’ magazine as an agony aunt uncle to answer reader’s problems with careers.

The Telegraph – I was requested to help & be a case study in a piece on young people opting to enter the world of work after school & college - the online version is here.

The Times – ran a double page spread on careers featuring yours truly as the centrefold (!) the online article is here (minus the big picture!)

Channel 4 – I was chosen to take part in a year-long groundbreaking education project called Year Dot. The project followed my entrepreneurial & social aspirations over the course of a year and was frequently aired on Channel 4 as well as on its own microsite.

Sky News – Sky News ran a piece on me about student destinations and exam results.
